Baidu Quanzi

Baidu has quietly launched a sub-page named Baidu Quanzi. I believed this is a strategy to create value with the intention to further secure its leading competitive position in China. This Quanzi has launched in the beginning of this year with a “very” small scale. When a Internet start-up launch a new service, I believed it’s better to launch in small scale and with less attention, the chances for it to succeed in the market will likely to be increased.
When I go to the Quanzi page, it provided a link for the users to look for any post posted by the members from the Baidu Post as the picture showed in the above. Not surprise, This Baidu Quanzi would also integrated with another social networking site offered by Baidu, i.e. Baidu Space. But I wonder the role of this Quanzi would only served as a “middle-man” to integrate the members found in Baidu Post and Space. I expected Baidu would further integrate the aforesaid Quanxi, Post, Space and Blog Search, and therefore, creating a strong Web community within the Baidu networks.
With all the entertainment activities that can be found on Baidu, It is inevitably helped Baidu create a sustainable advantage in the market.
