Not long ago, I posted a blog entry that provided a link to an article entitled “Web 2.0 is not for India,” and can you believe it, things have changed now. As opposed to the above viewpoint, social networks are currently hot in India, particularly these two sites, iShare and BigAdda.

According to an Indian news, Rediff iShare claims it has managed to hook nearly 1 million users in just a month and a half. BigAdda meanwhile, is looking at hooking close to 10 million users by 2010.
