Oberon Media Partnered With MySpace

An Israeli startup Oberon Media has partnered with MySpace to create a new gaming channel that called MySpace Games. It is a new site that will enable MySpace users to choose from the casual games developed by Oberon Media and play with their friends as well as empower MySpace users to embed the games onto their MySpace personal profiles. According to Oberon Media, this site will launch in early next year. Most recently, Oberon Media has actively seeking growth in the casual games industry by acquired Kenjitsu and Friends Games in October, PixelPlay in July, and I-play in May this year. The partnership with MySpace will see Oberon Media increases its number of users in a new market that previously they had underserved. The general thinking here is that social networking and casual game are two major trends in technology that are inextricable linked. Regardless of what people like to do on the Web, social networking and casual games have found huge acceptance in the consumer markets.
Founded in 2003, Oberon Media focuses on developing the multi-platform casual games. It is headquartered in New York with offices across North America, Europe and Asia.
