There are a variety of Twitter applications available on the Web now, but I find GroupTweet is very special particularly of its security feature it has rendered to the users. GroupTweet allowed users to send private messages to the members of a specific group. In other words, it is served as a private group for the Twitter users. To use it, users do not need to know how to configure their existing Twitter accounts, but rather sign-up a “new group Twitter account” at Twitter and then register this group account name and password at GroupTweet and it is done. By using this GroupTweet, all the messages posted will only be followed by the followers approved by this group’s administrator.
