It’s become more and more common for Internet users to download softwares, ebooks, or movies through the torrent clients. Now a new Web application called Torrent2exe provides an alternative way for users to download any torrent file without the requirement of a torrent client installed.

To illustrate how to use this Torrent2exe, I use it to download an ebook. Just copy the URL of the torrent file, and then tick “Normal size, no additional download will be required.” You’re going to download the torrent file you want to your computer in an exe file format. After downloaded the exe file, click on it will then go through another downloading process, this will output the file whether it is the ebook in pdf or software in zip format that you want in the first place.

Demonoid, one of the largest torrent trackers on the Web is back online again. It seemed that they’ve found a new site administrator and all the trackers are fully operational at this moment. However, the most important thing is all the data of its old accounts have been saved. As we know, Demonoid is an exclusively torrent site, only allowing new members to sign-up upon others’ invites. For the existing members, they definitely do not want to go through the trivial sign-up processes again.

Prior to Demonoid’s resurrection, the site’s tracker was once being appeared briefly in Malaysia around January this year, but this time they’re hosted in Ukraine, reported by TorrentFreak.

Though I believe there will be a flurry of new torrent sites coming on the way in this year, but I hardly believe the concept of comprehensive, or “more is more” is what the torrent users are looking at this moment.

There are a lot of torrent search sites that one can find on the Web nowadays, but there are not many torrent sites that offer the torrents in real-time as Morrent. Morrent believed that they’re a better site when compare to some other torrent search sites with their live tracker system and advanced search features. On the Morrent site, you can find the top ten of all the torrents categorized in movies, shows, books, games, music, animation, software, picture, and etc. that are daily added to the site. For torrent users that favor of the latest torrents, it will be a valuable aspect on this site founded in the first glance discovery processes. Having a huge selection of the daily torrents will ensure that this site will attract a crowded of torrent users, particularly those who are focusing on the new torrents, or without having any specific ideas on what torrent they’re looking in their minds. In general, I still can’t see the real business model of many torrent search sites available on the Web at this moment, especially with a site like Morrent that existed without a single advertisement founded on the site.

When a meta torrent search engine YouTorrent first profiled on the Web, it’s foreseeable that this torrent search engine will continue roaring across a wide spectrum of consumer market. YouTorrent reported that they reached 150,000 searches within 3 days of launch. If you’re one of the torrent users, you must be heard of it already, if not, then you should give it a try.
